Okay, here we go, in no particular order and without compensation of any kind, I offer you the best of the Cape:

Jim Farraher, "Foriegn Auto and Domestic". 432-7365 in Harwich. An honest mechanic. He charges only for what he really does. Does it well and professionally. And will help you understand the options so you actually have choices. I've never seen Jim be anything but straight.
Cape Fisherman's Supply, 945-3501 in Chatham. Catering to the professional and serious mariner. They have a nice diversity of necessary gear. And they like to get you what you need. A pleasure to do business with.
Sandwich Fish Hatchery, 888-0008 in Sandwich. Al and Craig and the crew are pleasant and professional folk. The Hatchery is open to public view during the week. Your public money at work. They've done a heck of a job there.
Nauset Rod and Gun Club, 240-0198, off Oak St. in Eastham. The best place to shoot Sporting Clays around. Try Sunday morning after 0900. A friendly bunch of shooters of mixed abilities welcoming all to join. A good place to learn or be humbled, or both.
Chatham Lighthouse. The best place to watch dawn. As many will attest.
NOAA Fisheries Aquarium, 548-7684 in Woods Hole. Good exhibit of local species. Informative folk and hands on opportunities for kids.
C3TV (channel 3), 394-2388 in Yarmouth. A nationally outstanding cable access station.
Homeport Restaurant, 255-4069 in Orleans. Year 'round good fare. Opens early.
Smith's Time Service, 398-0848 on Rte. 28 in W. Dennis. A world class micro-engineer and craftsman.
The Clock Shop at Pleasant Bay, 240-0175 on Rte. 28 in S. Orleans. Greg specializes in restoring Grandfathers and Cockoos.
Janice Hank, M.S., Therapeutic Masseuse, 385-2614 in Marston's Mills. Professional and astute.
Area Association of Counselors and Psychotherapists, 945-3812 in Chatham. Thoroughly professional and experienced.
Daniel Cullity Restoration, 888-1147 in E. Sandwich. Gunsmithing.
Joyce Whitten Taxidermy, 775-7876 in Yarmouth. Really an artist with game. Exceptional work.
Kildee Hill Bait & Tackle, 430-1590, 390 Rt. 28 in Harwichport. Larry offers a small but remarkable lure and bait selection. Only the best!
Derbyfield Country Kennel, 432-2510. MaryAnn and Walt run a nice comprehensive operation.
The Tracker, a book by Tom Brown & Jon Watson. Buy it for your kids (pinebarrens ecology discovered by boys). Read it yourself.
Herring River, Harwich. Great canoe/kayak trip, upstream from the Rt. 28 bridge or downstream from the "reservoir"+.
Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, 896-3867 on 6A in Brewster. A great place for everyone in the family to add to what they know of the Cape.
