Guides, Guiding and Charter Bookings for Fly Fishing Cape Cod & the Islands

Finding and booking a guide for Cape Cod waters can be as random as a call to a phone listing or " national outfitter" or as personal as a dialogue with a local expert about your interests and then subsequent phone calls or email conversations with your guide.

I like to talk with my clients before our outing to be sure we are a good match-up. I live on the Cape year 'round (almost, check Bahamas) and spend hundreds of days on the water here keeping up with the changing conditions and emerging patterns. I want to be sure I can provide what you're looking for, or at the least, make a good recommendation where you might better inquire elsewhere.

To this end, I spend a lot of hours answering e-mails and the phone every evening (3:30 on); I don't mind providing information and options for inquiring fishermen (and women too, of course) to choose from. I consider this important and I like to do it.

Let me introduce myself, I'm Capt. Michael Eichenseer of Cape Cod Outdoors Fishing Charters. I charter from Chatham, at the elbow of Cape Cod, to the waters of: Pleasant Bay, the Atlantic north to Nauset Inlet and South to Monomoy Island and Nantucket Sound. This area includes the extensive areas of Monomy flats (Pleasant Bay flats too), the deep waters of the Atlantic ocean, the rips off Monomoy and the protected waters of Bay and Sound. I know of no other locale on the Cape that offers so many options within so few miles of water. It's why I'm here.

However, if you're looking for something that is beyond my area, I maintain a substantial list of other guides, charter operators and boats encompassing all of the Cape and Islands. I endeavor to know these individuals first hand so I may make the best possible recommendations and bookings. If your interests lie elsewhere, contact me through the Cape Cod Charter Association below and I'll do what I can to meet your specific needs.

Take your time looking over the pages below and visiting the rest of my Cape Cod Outdoors site or drop me an email right now if you'd like and we'll start talking about what you want to do.
